Meetings with Local Youth

Last month, I had the opportunity to hold two different meetings with some of our finest youth residents. I had a meaningful conversation with members of the Student Youth Council regarding a few of their projects, and I was able to provide an updated on current happenings in the city. I truly appreciate having open discussions with these future leaders to learn more about them and how they envision their future.

Councilmember Sanders and members of Surprise Youth Council have a discussion in a conference room.

Mayor Skip Hall, Councilman Duffy and I had the pleasure of meeting with a local high school student from Shadow Ridge to discuss her concerns about recycling in Surprise. We appreciate the opportunity to hear her thoughts and discuss sustainable, long-term solutions.

City Council joined many other community members to celebrate the official opening of the Toll Brothers Sterling Grove community. Sterling Grove will include over 2,000 new homes spanning over 780 acres.
